Chattanooga, TN, February 6, 2008 - A rooftop sign that will loom 90 feet over Market Street will be the crowning touch to the renovation of Warehouse Row. Pointe General Contractors, a Chattanooga based general contracting company, will erect the sign, featuring seven-and-a-half tall letters, this Sunday morning, February 8 at 7:00 am.
This type of signage is reminiscent of the downtown advertisements of yesteryear, similar to the signature Chattanooga Choo Choo emblem on the city's horizon. Likewise, the Warehouse Row sign brings with it a sense of nostalgia while also being symbolic of the dawn of a new era in shopping in downtown Chattanooga.
Pointe General Contractors has been working onsite at the Warehouse Row project since July 2008. An event at Warehouse Row that includes the lighting of the new sign will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 beginning at 5:30 pm.
