Chattanooga, TN, April 16, 2009 - Bruce Foster of Pointe General Contractors and Heather Holloway of Pointe Property Group will participate on a team in the Chattanooga Dragon Boat Races to help raise funds to benefit the T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital Foundation.
The 3rd Annual Chattanooga Dragon Boat Festival will be held on April 18th at the Chickamauga Dam. Mr. Foster & Ms. Holloway are members of the Tennessee Valley Canoe Club (TVCC) Team, Canoe Wong Fu. The same team took home the gold in 2008 for the fastest time and the highest amount of contributions raised.
"We are excited to do our part in raising funds for the foundation. It's a great way to have fun with friends while supporting an organization that works toward advancing children's healthcare in our region.” says Ms. Holloway, a recent addition to Pointe Property Group and to TVCC. "I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday than having the chance to defend the title of the winning Dragon Boat team while raising funds for such a great cause."
